Determining Effective and User-friendly Tools for Toddler Developmental Screening
The Department of Child Development (DCD) at KKH is embarking on a research study titled Timely Identification of Developmental and Behavior problems in Toddlers (TIDBIT), to determine the accuracy and preferences of local parents for various developmental screening tools for toddlers. TIDBIT delivers screening and comprehensive assessment of toddler development for 18 month old and 30 month old children.
The results of the study is likely to bring about better health outcomes in children by contributing to scientific evidence for enabling timely identification, and hence early intervention for developmental delays.
